Is this a little weird (photo developing)

I just came back from Wal-Mart and picked up the photos I dropped off of my nephew's wedding luncheon yesterday. One of the photos showed my son and his cousin (groom's brother) decorating the wedding car. They stuck Oreos on the car and wrote on the back windshield "Just Married" in one of those markers for glass.

That picture was in the packet with all the rest, but it was also reprinted specially with a white border and put in the very front of all the other pictures. Printed on the picture at the bottom it says "YOU DIDN'T USE A PERMANENT MARKER, DID YOU?"

Its not really obvious in the picture that they are Oreos and I guess it could look like they colored these black circles on the car with a marker.

But is that normal for them to comment on one of my photos in this way???

That does seems a bit strange. Did they also include the regular photo without their comments? Nevermind, I reread your post and it looks like they did. I would be mad if they did not. Did they charge you for this little extra?

I would take that in to the manager and ask them if this is normal procedure. That's weird.

No. That is not a little weird. That is a LOT weird! And rude to boot!

VERY weird. Totally inappropriate for them to comment like that. I would let the manager know.

I also vote for someone was bored and found something interesting to comment on....they didn't ruin your photos and they didn't write anything obscene...I'd let it go and not getting anybody in trouble...

Eckerds (before they closed) and Walmart always try to find a special picture and put it in a cardboard type frame. I think they were trying to be funny like captions in a year book. It wouldn't bother me.

Maybe they were really worried about the car?

I've never heard of anyone putting oreos on a car!

I'd never heard of putting Oreos on cars either and at first said "how do you get them to stick"? Then they explained that they opened them up and stuck them frosting side down. My BIL/SIL brought them to put on their son's car so I assumed they knew he wouldn't care!

As for the picture thing, what's next . . . if a heavy person is eating a big piece of cake in a picture is there going to be a caption saying "are you sure you should be eating that???"!!!

True. I bet they didn't even think it through.

Just can't help but think about all of those wasted oreos! (Can you tell they are my favorite?)
