Seeing this is the first time we have booked the free dining promo I was wondering if this rate is good or should I try the AP rate. We are going down at the end of August for 8 nights at the AKL (standard view) with free dining and "3" one day park tickets (we have AP's) the package cost is $2255. Usually we spend around $120 a day for lunch and dinner, snack for the 3 of us (2 adults and a 13yo). The room rate comes to $225 a night (plus taxes). We have never spent more that $155 a night for a room plus the cost of food. So it is looking like a good deal in our eyes. Do you agree?
Sounds like a good deal. You can book now and if an AP rate comes out you can just apply it at that time. If I did my calculations correct you are spending about $94.00 per person per day for lodging and food. Doesn't sound bad to me. I am spending more than that for 4 days but we are leaving in 7 days and we have to pay for dining and it is the 4th of July week! Good Luck and have a wonderful vacation!
It's an "ok" deal. Not great or fantastic, but at least your rate includes dining. So basically your're paying rack rate for the room and regular price for tickets, but you get dining for free. You're definetly saving money so as long as YOU believe it's a good deal, then that's all that matters.
