Is this a good rate for a minivan?

Its with National at $269.00 onsite

for 6 days and 5 nights starting 11-11

thanks and we only want onsite at the airport

we are a group of 9 and fit fine in our minivan at home but we are 2 families

we have 5 kids all under the age of 8 and they fit 4 to a seat...and we will be using it to and from the airport and switching hotels!

And they will give you car seats so the little ones can ride safely and legally. Even with the change in hotels, I expect one of the better Limo svcs will suit you better (in terms of comfort and $$), esp since you are staying on Universal, then Disney property and can use their Transportation the rest of the time.

Otherwise, a full-size van is probably a better bet with 9! ppl. The rental agencies would not let you cram the 9 of you in a minivan (if they know about it) I expect, as they are only rated for 7 passengers (officially: 4 adults and 3 kids); while a full-size van is not much more $, and it would probably be legal for them to rent it to you for the number of ppl you are carrying.

But I still think you are better-off getting Limo svcs to and from the airport and between hotels, then using on-site transportation.

Is this will taxes and fees? If not, then you can do better by clicking on that little picture of specials. They have mini vans at 235.00 base rate for you time frame.

Alamo has them for 229.00 base rate, they are onsite also.

car seats the 7 yr olds don't need one and the 4 year old is our only concern....

I would definitely check out the rates @ Dollar. The last I checked they were offering a minivan for 199.99/wk up through 12/3/03. You will have to use a code to get this rate. Check out www.mousesavers.com to find the code.

For 9 days I came up with a minivan for $333 including taxes and fees.
