Is this a good price?

I am getting ready to book our Sept. trip and just want to make sure this is an ok deal. I'm doing the kids play/stay free promo. 7 nights at Pop with 6 day base tickets and the QSDP. Total is $1881. I am really hoping Disney offers either free dining or kids play and eat free but I'm afraid if I don't make reservations now and nothing else good comes along I'll be kicking myself! I already am for not booking earlier when free dining was offered. What do you think? If something else comes along I can change it with no penalty, is this correct? Thank you!

Yes. If a better promotion comes along, based on availability, you can change it with no penalty. :)
I would book that. :)
I think that is a good deal. Just to give you a comparison - We are booked at POP - 2A & 2C - Free QSDP upgraded to the Regular Dining - 10 days in May with 9 day Park Hopper Passes - Our package total is about $2600 -
Obviously ours is more because 1. Time of year - We are going in May which is more expensive than Sept. 2. We are staying longer and we have Park Hoppers. 3. We upgraded to the Regular Dining Plan.
HTH. :goodvibes

Without the kids stay free your package would be about $2349 (non-preferred room) . If you had free dining it would run you $1685 so you would have saved a bit more and had the option to upgrade...

But overall it's still a good deal. You are saving $500! Not to bad at a value resort!

As mentioned earlier, your problem won't so much getting a better deal than availability. saving $500 at WDW is pretty strong, not sure if you will get a better deal.

:thumbsup2 As long as you are more than 45 days out. Otherwise, they charge you a penalty fee if you change your package and the price is lower than the original price you booked. Kind of stinky. If you change your package and the price goes up after 45 days, no penalty fee.
