We usually drive but this seems like a great deal...
I was looking at different airlines and getting prices between $1200 and $1700 for the four of us to fly from Indianapolis to MCO.
But Airtran has $110 each way per person, for a grand total of $880 for us to fly. Now considering I figure gas will be $4/gallon at least AND how many miles it is from NE Indiana to Orlando and a hotel stay on the way down and another on the way back and all the meals will eat over four days of driving... It would cost us close to $700 to drive. So $880 to get there in two hours? Um, yeah, sounds too good to pass up.
But just wondering if that's a good price for AirTran? Should I BOOK NOW? Or should I wait it out to see if they go lower? I haven't flown anywhere in roughly 5 years so I don't really know the trends in prices like I used to!
