That is roughly what my parents and inlaws paid for a 7 nt cruise on the Magic in November 2010. The economy was in the toilet so they were offering great deals. This was around the time they were offering "kids sail free" on some sailings and WDW was offering buy 4 days, get 7 for park tickets. Universal offered buy one year AP, get 2nd year free.
Can't really call it the good ol days because our retirement accounts were in the toilet too.
