I hope this is the place to put this. I got a flier in the mail from Disney (even though we have never been to Disney, we are Universal/IOA junkies)to go to Disney 9/28/08-10/11/08, 11/9/08-11/22/08, or 12/14/08-12/20/08 for $63 per day per person...5 days/4 nights for a total of $1253. This price also includes the Dining Plan. Anyone else get this? I really have no idea how I got this but I did. We just got back from Universal Studios, and now are thinking of taking advantage of this deal.

That does sound like a good deal. Did you call and confirm, or did you just do the math based on your post card and family size?

That one is AMAZING!!!!!!!!! I got the same one and saved $1600 off of rack rate for a week at the POLY. The savings was WAY WAY more than any of the fall discount codes.....call and get prices and you'll see how sweet that deal is!!!

I think that this is just the free dining offer they have been sending out to random people lately. That quote, as best I can figure off the top of my head quickly, is pretty dern close to rack rate for a room and your park tixs. That doesn't save you anything off the rack rate of the resort but it does give you the free dining plan which is 39.99 per adult per night of stay or 10.99 per child per night of stay.

So, for 2 adults and 1 child (just an example), the dining plan for 4nt/5 dy trip is $363.88 (I am adding this in my head...argh) so you are saving that cost (will be even more if there are more in you room) with this deal not a discount on the room. Make sense?

If I am wrong, someone correct me. This is all still new to me!

** I meant to quote weesignlanguage** This is a response to your last post.

We are staying 7 nights in December.

Rack Rate for the Poly and Base Tickets for my dates is $4469.....that does not include adding on the dining.

Using my postcard PIN (just like the one the OP got) I am paying $3550 for the Poly,Base Tickets and FREE DINING!! :thumbsup2 So there is most definately a room discount here.:wizard:

Rack Rate for the Poly,Base Tickets and Dining Plan is: $5141 which makes our total savings with this PIN about $1600 off of rack rate.

That is why I said this postcard was an amazing discount!

I hope that made sense.

OMGoodness!! Can I have that postcard??? WOW! I never knew they were doing both a room disc and fd!! WOW! I stand corrected! Whoo hoo!

That flier sounds like the BB offer w/ the $63.00 per night...I assumed she meant this for a value resort...if that is for a higher end resort then you BETTER book it QUICK! :) Congrats!!

You can get the same deal with the Disney Visa free dining code, I think. At least for the dates close to Christmas, the DV FD Code (QXZ) includes free dining AND a room discount (basically, the room stays at the value season rate for your entire stay).

We booked a Preferred Room at ASMovies for 6 nights, 2 adults, 2 kids (17 and 14), one-day base ticket each, for $944.40. The regular rate for the same package (w/o dining) is $1179.40 - which means we saved $235 on the room alone. The regular rate w/dining for the same package is $2091.16 - which means we saved $1146.76 on the room and free dining.

The coupon says $1253 for 4 people for 5 days and 4 nights with dining included.

The card says at the bottom: Total package price of $1,253 based on 2 adults, 1 junior, and 1 child.
