We are going to be at WL for 2 days/1 night and really want a 2-day park hopper and not a UPH since we will not really use everything a UPH entitles a person to - such as water parks, Disney Quest, etc. We want to hop to our favorite rides over a 2 day period to MK, MGM and Epcot. We are not going to even go to AK.

We are really staying 2 nights, but we have our 2 nights booked separately at Wl so that we can get the 2 day/ 1 night UPH if we can't think of anything else. The morning after our second night we are checking out, so we are hopping only two days.

Any body ever get a 2 day hopper at the park gate or resort desk? Seems like I've heard of this.

No 2 day park hoppers. I have read about 3 day park hoppers, but don't know if they are still available. If you ever plan on returning to Disney and can afford it, I would purchase the 4,5,6 or 7 day PHs, as the unused days never expire. Here is a link to tell you how to save a little on 2 day/1 park passes. ~:D~

Unused days don't expire on 3-day hoppers either. They are available from Ticketmania and Central Florida Travel. The ones from Ticketmania cost a bit more because they include a plus feature (for example, a Disney Quest or Pleasure Island admission, among other options)

You could purchase ultimate park hoppers for just 2 days. It is 127.00 for 2 day UPH.

I know it would be hard to pick out of the 3 parks you mentioned, but with only 2 days, you might consider the amount of time spent hopping vs time you could be spending in a park doing your favorite attractions. I'd probably just *eeny meeny miney mo* and buy single tickets. And hey, it's a great excuse to start planning your next trip to hit the park you missed!

the other option is to find someone who is having a disney wedding who would be willing to order 2 day hoppers for you. when we had our disney wedding all of our guests had the option of purchasing 2 day hoppers.

Another option, though one widely disdained on these boards, is to buy partially-used park hopper tickets on eBay. You should be able to get two-day hoppers for less than $100 each (compared to $127 for UPH). Contrary to popular belief, this is not illegal for non-Florida residents, and Disney neither checks nor cares if you buy them from eBay.

If you do it, though, make sure you buy from somebody with a good feedback rating, and try to pay for it with a credit card on Paypal. If you end up getting bad tickets, Disney will show little sympathy.

A safer and even cheaper alternative is to buy a 7-day park hopper, use two days, and sell the remaining 5 days on eBay. That way you are positive that nobody is getting ripped off, and it's likely that your final cost will be below $50 per ticket.

When you figure a 2 day/1 park ticket is going to cost you 101.18 (and you don't get to hop), for about 20 bucks more you can get the 1nite/2day UPH for 121.41 (advanced purchase). ~:D~

About those 2-day Ultimate Park Hoppers...We have a collection of old tickets that we are bringing along for our 6 night stay. If I buy a couple of 2-day Ultimate Park Hoppers in advance on-line, to save a little money, would I be able to use them for any 2 days of our stay to supplement the old tickets? Also, does the Ultimate Park Hopper cover the water parks as well? Thanks to all you experts! Planning is such fun, especially at the nitty-gritty stage, when you know you're finally getting close to going!

Copied this from Deb's site. ~:D~

When you purchase your UPH's through CRO/WDTC, they are directly tied to the entire length of your reservation and the number in your party; hence the length of stay pass must be purchased by all members of your party (except for holders of AP/PAP's) and must equal the number of nights reserved (at your resort). Holders of valid AP/PAP's are exempted from this requirement.

Oh well, there goes that idea! Thanks for the info. That's what I mean about how great these Boards are! I guess I'll just have to figure out a Plan B!

There is a way to do this. Just split your reservation. You may have to change rooms midway through but it's also a nice way to try out several different resorts. Book one reservation with the UPH's for length of stay and book a second reservation right after without any ticket option and use your old tickets for that part. You are not required to buy tickets just to book at a Disney resort.

You know, I hadn't thought of that. I have a very good comback rate for the Beach Club. I wonder if I could split that. Do you happen to know if the great rate follows you around, or if you have to "comeback" to one place?

I think the "comeback" applies to the same place you stayed before but it might depend on who you get on the phone wnen you call. There is sometimes variablity on how the policy is applied. Either way, you can probably get a comparable rate at another resort using a different discount code, or you might try out an economy resort since it's just for one or two nights and book your longer stay at the Beach Club.

When we got our comeback rate we were staying at Wilderness Lodge--the rate applied to the Beach Club no problem. I don't know about the switching, but will give a call. Thanks!
