I need to be able to put my hotshoe flash (SB-600) on top of a light pole. Is there an adapter to do that? Preferably, something will allow me to adjust the angle and also accept an umbrella or other accessories?

I've been looking for about an hour and since I don't know what to call it, I'm kinda stuck. My flash came with a base that has a tripod socket. I can screw that onto my light pole but there's not much flexibility in that arrangement (and no way to attach an umbrella or softbox).

Any idea? :confused3

You bet!! I'm assuming you're referring to a light stand, kind of like a tripod?

This Photoflex multi clamp works very nicely. The light stand should have a 3/8" slide adaptor that that will fit over and clamp to. Then you attach the flash to the top shoe. If you want an umbrella then it fits in the horiz hole and clamps into position.
