We did the DP in October for 2 weeks with DVC and are doing it again at my brother's request for our 5 night stay in August - not the free one but we are paying for it through DVC and there will be 7 of us.

My only complaint in Oct was that it was nearly impossible to find a decent CS meal. Earl of Sandwich and the boardwalk bakery were great - didn't mind the resort CS places too much (SSR and OKW) but we had terrible CS meals in the parks - thinking perhaps it was b/c we just didn't know where to go.

Wondering if some people could share where they have had really good CS meals. We don't like eating too much 'junky' type food!

Three of my favorites are: Tangerine Cafe ( EPCOT, Morroco), Tusker House (AK), and Flame Tree Barbecue (AK).

My favorite CS meal is the chicken wrap meal at Pecos Bills in the MK. It's not as "junky" as most of the other fare, and Pecos Bills has become a bit of a tradition in my family.

I've never eaten there, but I've heard great things about Flame Tree Barbecue in AK. It's something different than all the burgers and chicken strip meals at most of the other CS restaurants.

I like the food courts across from the Fantasmic entrance in MGM - very good salads and a sandwich with caesar salad topping. The pizza there is pretty good, too.

At MK, I like Pirata y el Perico, (fish tacos) and the egg roll stand. The clam chowder at Harbor House isn't too bad. I also like getting baked potatoes at the outdoor place in Liberty square.

At Epcot, I like the patisserie in France for the croissants and creme brulee (all desserts are pretty good). The Chinese place is good, as well as the Norway CS (I recommend the lefse).

I don't usually go to AK, so nothing to recommend there.

Here are some cs places I have found to be very good:

At MK: Really like Columbia Harbor House. They do have a lot of fried stuff but they also have a really good tuna sandwich I like. I have also enjoyed the chicken wrap at Pecos Bills but request it without the huge amount of mayo they dollop all over it. My son and I split a very good pannini at Village Haus and then split a salad too.

At MGM: Basically I hardly ever eat cs here. Just haven't found anything I like yet so we go to Sci Fi or Prime Time. I was looking over menus yesterday and noticed ABC Commissary has a tabbouleh wrap that looked pretty good. So I may be giving that a try soon!

At AK: Tusker House is my favorite cs at any park. I love the salmon platter, they also have a turkey wrap that is very good and it comes with a cup of corn chowder. And if I am feeling in a "fried" sort of mood, they have a very good fried chicken sandwich. I love to eat here when they have the live music and dancers performing. Flame Tree BBQ in AK is also good, I love their smoked turkey sandwich.

At Epcot: I love the place in Japan, I always get the shogun platter (we get two and then split between the four of us) and a salad there. I also love the meatball platter at the Tangerine Cafe. The Sunshines Seasons in the Land in Epcot has a food court set up with some really interesting salads and sandwiches. The bakery in Norway has some nice sandwiches.

And I enjoy all the food courts and cs places in the resorts I have stayed at. Also Earl of Sandwich (which I know you mentioned).

If you haven't already, check out the menus on: www.allearsnet.com

I love that sight, it gives the menu and prices for every full and counter service restaurant at WDW parks and resorts (and DTD too).

Good luck!

We also like the Sunshine Seasons in the Land at Epcot. I had a really good salmon and mashed potatoes there with an orange creme brulee for dessert.

I cast some more votes for Tusker House and Sunshine Seasons! I love the seared tuna salad, but I had to skip it now that I'm pregnant. SS has so much variety, it's hard to go wrong. I also like Cosmic ray's @ MK- the chicken caesar salad there is huge for the price! And I add mushrooms from the toppings bar - mm mm good! Another favorite is WPE, but I'm not sure if you really consider that CS since they bring your food to your table and refill your drinks....we ate there twice last week! I can't get enough of the squash soup!

We also liked Sunshine Seasons in Epcot and El Pirata in MK (across from POC). They had great tacos and churros for dessert.

At MK: I am a big fan of the aforementioned chicken wrap from Pecos Bills. Columbia Harbor House is good for chowder or fish and chips. If I'm in the mood for a hot dog, the one's at Casey's are great.

At MGM: I try to avoid counter service here since there just isn't anything that's very good in my experience. In a pinch I will do Backlot Express for chicken fingers. :)

At AK: Flame Tree BBQ has excellent food, as does Tusker House. I don't think I've had a bad meal at either of these and I've worked through their menus pretty good. Pizzafari is really cool too... a great cheese pizza in a pinch. (I miss the old Chranadi Chicken Shop.. that was good for a CS meal too...)

At Epcot: Tangierine Cafe (Morocco), Yakitori House (Japan), Lotus Blossom Cafe (China) and Sunshine Seasons are all great. The Norway and France bakeries have some great stuff as well. Heck I even like the counter service in Mexico... but I seem to be the only one....

Hope that helps!

 Oh my goodness, I could eat at Tusker House in AK everyday.

Loved Flame Tree BBQ also. Yum.

Sunshine Seasons at EPCOT was wonderful. So much variety. The seared tuna salad... big yum. orange creme brulee.... ummmmmm YAY:yay:

AP at SSR was really good. You already said Earl of Sandwich. Love that place.

And, we actually loved Backlot Express at MGM.

I just realized that except for Casey's hot dogs, all of my meals at the MK have been ts. :) Had not thought about that until this moment.:hippie:

Here is my list for the theme parks, Downtown Disney and the Resorts.

Magic Kingdom: Cosmic Rays Starlight Cafe
Epcot: Electric Umbrella and the Liberty Inn
MGM: ABC Commissary
AK: Pizzafari

Downtown Disney: Earl of Sandwich

Resorts: Food and Fun Center at the Contemporary, Gasparilla Grill and Games at the Grand Floridian.

At MK, I like Pirata y el Perico, (fish tacos) and the egg roll stand. The clam chowder at Harbor House isn't too bad. I also like getting baked potatoes at the outdoor place in Liberty square.

I've never been lucky enough to catch Pirata y el Perico open, but would love to try it. FYI: In case you didn't know you can get that baked potato in Liberty Square for a snack credit.

As far as the OP question:
In Epcot we like Sunshine Seasons in the Land, Tangeriene Cafe in Morroco, and the bakery in Norway or France.
In AK we like Tusker House or Flame Tree BBQ.
At MK we usually do the ribs and chicken plate at Cosmic Rays or Columbia Harbour House soup and sandwich combo
At MGM we usually skip CS or catch the boat to Epcot for lunch.
At DTD we like Wolfgang Pucks Express in the Marketplace

Great quality of food. I also like Pecos Bill's in MK for burgers and the Pinocchio
place in Fantasyland is also good for burgers. We also like the Sunshine Food
Festival in the Land at Epcot. It's all yummy! :thumbsup2

Tusker House is wonderful it is better than some TS meals that I have had. Wolfgang Puck Express at DTD was also amazing I can't wait to go back there again this year to get a Chinois Chicken Salad.

We like the roast chicken, mashed potatoes and carrots at Cosmic Ray's in the Magic Kingdom. Delicious.

Some of my favorites are:

MK: Columbia Harbor House. I had a wonderful humus & veggie sandwich here along with a bowl of clam chowder.

MGM: Eh. I agree with others that there isn't much here that floats my boat.

AK: I've really only been to the Tusker House for breakfast. We don't stay late at the AK so I've never had dinner or lunch there.

Epcot: This is our favorite for CS. DH and I split a shwarma platter at Tangierine Cafe that was really yummy. We also were able to sit and watch Mo Rockin' while we ate which was fun. I'm also fond of the salmon & mashed potatos at Sunshine Seasons. We had the most delicious Butterfinger cheesecake for dessert. I like the Cantina in Mexico for the tacos al carbon and frozen margaritas.

Also, the crepes at the little stand in France are a really delicious dessert.
