Just wondering, it would make me feel better getting undressed, knowing that no one can just come in..

As a hotel GM for 20+ years trust me. We can get in your room
This topic really is a dead horse.
Let me ask you:As a hotel GM for 20+ years trust me. We can get in your room
Let me ask you:
I am alone in my room in the afternoon, I've just stepped out of the shower, a CM needs to come in and check the room. Do they just unlock the door, disable the latch and walk in? Or do they knock? If I say, "Just a moment!" will they wait for a period of time?
I understand that employees CAN get into a locked room. It it a reasonable concern that they WILL? As a hotel GM can you tell us if most hotels have a protocol used before they disable the safety latch?
I understand. If you answer, "Just a moment.", will they wait a period of time? Or will they disable the latch and enter while you are still undressed? If you have the room occupied sign on, they will keep knocking until you answer.

And they can "disable" the Latch, but, unlike the deadbolt, it does take tham a few minutes to do so.Yes. That all have the latch. No one can just come in.
One would hope so,but,FWIW,there are reports on other Threads where this did not happen. If I say, "Just a moment!" will they wait for a period of time?
