Is there still a chance or should I go back to the drawing board

We are going down January 7 to 16 and I have been waiting to book my room till a discount came out. I have had my heart set on csr. Well today I was just playing on disney's site and when I put in those days it is telling me all that is available is a suite. (as much as i would love to that is way out of my price range) I had never really concidered that in january csr would fill up. I know I am going over marathon days but I didn't think it would impact it to that degree. My question is do you think this is some kind of mistake ( i know, i am just trying to be hopeful) or are the rooms really all gone?

they are probably gone - so make your reservation someplace else - still check on CSR daily if you can - there are cancelation all the time - think you have to paid everything when 45 or 30 days before you arrival?

do dvc most of the time when doing wdw pay it immediately - so not sure when wdw guests have to paid.

Marathon weekend will impact the resorts / room occupancy quite a bit. Park levels maybe not so much because they will be doing the running EARLY AM..

I think everything is full for marathon weekend.
The good news is there is availability before and after.
Can you change your dates?
Otherwise, I wouldn't hold out hope for more opening up Jan 10-13.
Try offsite, if you are locked into your dates.

There are about 30,000 runners on Sunday. That takes up a lot of rooms. On Saturday, you'll have even more doing the Half Marathon.

Also, don't forget that CSR is a convention resort. Many rooms can go to them, leaving a lot less availability for the general public. I'd book whatever you can right now at another resort, if you really want those dates, and continue to check for CSR availablility. Maybe you'll get lucky.
