Is there something on the DIS that just super annoys you?

my pet peeve is when posters think that just because they have good grammar/punctuation that everyone should. To me there are more important things going on than to worry about that. I know some posters that will no longer post here due to being criticised for it.

I for one do not have great spelling or grammar. But I try my best with the google Spell check. And some posters mock me. Well only the ones that are not on my political side. IMO That is worse than my grammar problem.


Also sometimes I type so fast that I post and dont read after spell check to see how it all came out..

Otherwise....life is good.

Nah, that's something that I think pretty much everybody notices. It took me forever to get "brave enough" to post on the CB for that reason; now I can spot the threads that have that potential a mile away and just stay the heck out of them.

Then why did you open this thread ? It does take a certain intestinal fortitude to participate on some threads on the CB. Who know shopping carts would be so "touchy"?!?

I admit to being one of those picayune DISers that hate misspellings and such and got my behind handed to me by another one who found the word "alot" in one of my threads!! I shut my mouth up then!

Spelling has NOTHING to do with intellect... especially on a quickly typed board...

Ohhh! I was just reminded of another one. People who try to hijack a perfectly good thread and turn it into a clique thread.

I don't mind these half as much as the ones that turn INTO these buddy buddy clique threads! It starts out with a basic statement or question, then all of a sudden I'm in the middle of "how are you's" and "how was that dinner last night" and private jokes that I'll NEVER GET!

I always thought I was very special because all of these things you write about annoyed me to.
