Judy, did you say something?
I don't get that. I can understand on a long thread not wanting to read every post, especially when people are repeating each other. But don't people want their own posts read? If they are not reading other people's posts, are they expecting people to read theirs?
Also a big DIS annoyance of mine is when there is an "Official" thread already, with several pages, from weeks ago and people need to post their OWN thread asking a question on the same topic. Like their question is more special or different or something.
I can understand when the "Official" thread hasn't been bumped up for a week and it's hard to find with the DIS Search, and you aren't subscribed to it. But sometimes the "Official" thread is right on the first page! Like SEVEN threads underneath the new thread, and has been there for a while.
You know that person hasn't even bothered to scan down the page to even look to see what other people posted.
This happened tonight. There was one new DWTS thread. Okay, new poster. The old thread wasn't bumped up.
I posted to the "Official" Dancing With The Stars thread, so it's on the first page, now.
Someone else comes along an hour later, doesn't post to the "Official" thread OR the second thread some 10 threads down, but posts her OWN thread.

Get with the program! We're a community, which means loosely making up rules and we collectively agree to abide by them as a group/community. What a novel idea!
