Is there something going on March 3rd-6th 2020?

Checking several of the hotels in the area and for some reason many of them are all booked up for that 3-4 day stretch. Is there a convention or something that I am missing?

Perhaps the Natural Products Expo West at the convention center? Coincides with those dates and looks like they had over 80,000 attendees each of the last two years.

We went that weekend once and it was a cheerleading competition. I don't know if that's what is happening this year but maybe. Check the Anaheim convention center website and it can give info on
what is happening.

I've been many times during that timeframe. The Natural Products Expo doesn't really affect crowds in the park much, but it makes hotel prices outrageous and traffic around the convention center horrendous.

I was wondering the exact same thing since it was kind of early to be full-on spring break crowds. . We had to switch our DL trip from the last week of Feb , to the first week of March, and was shocked that almost all the hotels were booked solid ! Couldn't figure out why .........now I know ! Hopefully this convention wont swell the DL crowds too much .
Also hoping the DCA will continue the opening of Food and Wine festival to "around" the 1st week of march !

Luckily (and I mean VERY luckily) , we can stop looking for the overpriced and full off site hotels for the first week of march now !
Scored a DVC studio in the Grand for our whole week . Took some work, but finally got all our days !
Was willing to jump up to a 1 bedroom if we had too , but dont really need that much space (and over use of points) as its just 2 of us this trip . Stayed in a 1 bedroom a few years ago and they are gorgeous ! Studio will work out just perfect for us this trip (feeling very lucky to have grabbed it ).
