Is there ever any kind of a saving over Christmas?

I have made our ressies POR and I am just wondering if I am killing myself watching for codes and AP rates over Christmas. Is the only thing ever offered Dolphin with teacher's rate? We decided on POR with dining instead of Dolphin with teacher's rate. The dining and the ME transportation helped us choose POR over Dolphin. I have been checking hoping to see if there was ever a code or special rate for Christmas.

They have released codes/AP rates during Christmas before. You usually have to check-in before Christmas to qualify for the rate for your entire stay. I used it one year and got Poly Concierge for $229 per night, I checked-in on 12/25 though.

I've only seen it if you check in on or before 12/25, not after.

If you check in by the 19th it is still value season and that carries through your stay. Makes for a long stay and many families with kids cannot be there that early, but that does make for considerable savings over holiday rate.

We got a fantastic AP rate this past Christmas -- checked in on the 21st. Our rate for Spring Break doesn't even begin to compare!!! I thought Christmas was supposed to be a slightly more expensive season??? Well, not according to the rates we paid -- best we've had over the past year!!

I received an email code for check ins up to 12/25. I get one every year for Christmas time...fall actually. We always go in June. We are thinking about going in December. Now I know, we won't get one this year.

We stayed at the YC this last Dec. 25-30 with a BRP (AP) room rate.

WOW, I didnt think they would have any kind of codes or rates for the holidays. We now have POR with hoppers and dining plan but if a great rate or code comes up before we would have to pay a cancelation fee I am going to jump at it. Thanks for the info.
