Can I buy Distilled water at the store in Coronado Springs? We are suddenly flying instead of driving and I can't bring it on the plane. If they don't sell it there, I guess I will have to use a service to bring me some.

Also, does anyone know if there is a minimum purchase required for garden grocer or wegoshop?

Thanks!

I've never seen distilled water in any Disney shop, but I would think that the Hess convenience stores on property might sell it, as some people still need it for their cars. Has anyone seen it at Hess?

I don't believe there's a minimum for Garden Grocer, as you have to pay a delivery fee if your order is below a certain amount. I've heard of people just ordering bottled water from them, which by itself would not be a large order. Of course, it's tempting to go ahead and order the snacks and other items you might want in the room, because the selection is better than what you find on property (and you will have a fridge in the room).

GardenGrocer does have a minimum order of $40 on food/grocery items (what else would you get??) They do free delivery (waiving the $12 charge) on deliveries over $200. Not sure about any other delivery service.

Why not just pack some in your checked bag? Take the bottle, wrap it in a towel then in a large plastic bag, and tape it securely shut.

I don't beleive they sell it at the Hess station as an FYI, I recall a few people trying to buy it there in the past.

Thanks for the help. I'll try to guesstimate how much I need and pack it in the suitcase.

Just out of curiosity...is the distilled water kind of a medical "necessity"? (I have some medical equipment that requires using distilled water as well).

You might consider shipping a few bottles directly to your resort as well.

If you are going to pack it to take with you. Pack it in a separate suitcase and tell them it is part of your medically necessary equipment for your C pap It must be with the checked in items but it should not count toward your luggage allowance if listed as part of your medical equipment.

Yes, it is a medical necessity for my CPAP machine. We are only going for 4 nights this trip and will probably need only about 1/4 to 1/2 a gallon. I may just fill up some old water bottles, ziplock them, wrap in a towel and hope for the best.

I understand that...I hadn't even gotten that far in our planning. I think we'll probably just put a small bottle in our luggage as well.

It's not on property anywhere, I got ours from gardengrocer for my son's c-pap.

We were there for over a week last trip so it was worth it with the snacks and bottled water. In the past we have just gone to Walgreens to pick it up.

If you ask at the front desk when you get there they can give you the number for a pharmacy that delivers. I had to do this for distilled water for my Dad's CPAP, and they delivered within a couple of hours. It was I think about 6-8 dollars including delivery.

My dh has gone to the food court manager to get a gallon of distilled water and sometimes it takes a day to get it. I think that we were charged under $4.

DH has used the bottles of the brand "Smart Water" to refill with distilled water and pack for his CPAP. It is a long skinny bottle that fits great in luggage and is usually enough for a 6 night trip. (I drink the water then he uses the bottle for the trip!)

More recently we've been ordering the distilled water with our groceries from gardengrocer.com though.
