Is there anywhere to eat around Long Beach Airport?

DH and I and kids will be returning our rental car to Long Beach airport on Thurs. May 28 between 5 and 6 pm and our plane doesn't leave until 7:30. DH is a total early arriver for airports of any kind (especially since we missed our last flight from Burbank airport Mar. 2008).

But, we need to eat and wondered if anyone knows of any place w/in walking distance from the airport. Thanks!

We ate upstairs in the restaraunt last week.... it was good food, clean and comfortable. We hamburgers, they didn't really have a kid's menu, but told us what they could make for dd, she had chicken fingers.

The PP is right. The food is good. They have remodeled this restaurant in the past couple of years...it used to be very quaint, now it has the feel of a sports bar.

One warning....do not order a Guiness! My DH did on our last trip and was totally shocked by the price....$7! Which is outrageous for a beer. I think my glass of merlot was only $5.

We stopped at Subway on the way to the airport and then ate them at the tables they have outside by the luggage carousels.
