cry?

This can include parades, fireworks, rides, shows, even resorts or restaurants.

I cry during Wishes like no other. When the characters all state their wishes, (ex: Cinderella:I wish I could go to the ball!) and when Jiminey announces the Blue Fairy - gets me EVERY time!

Also, Peter Pan's Flight. Ridiculous, I know, but since this is the very first ride we ride in WDW every time, it just hits me when we board the ships that we're actually in Disney! We usually have to ride it twice in a row, I'm too overwhelmed to pay attention the first time :rotfl:

I cry during the Welcome Ceremony at MK every year. That is to me the definition of Disney magic... the music, Mickey, and the look of anticipation on the faces of DH, DD7 and DS 4 just before entering the MK. Priceless! It is the absolute best!

The two you mention also choke me up! As soon as we swoop over London, I'm a goner . . .

I also get a bit misty during Spaceship Earth. It is the one ride I remember the most vividly from childhood, so perhaps it's nostalgia . . . or just the scent of Rome on fire!

I always get a little sniffle-y in SE, too. I think maybe because it just seems so Walt-ish to me. It's all about progress and communication, and it just reminds me of Walt Disney!

I teared up during the new show Magic, Memories and You especially when they showed the little video snippets of kids meeting the characters. :lovestruc

Walking down Main Street when you first arrive at MK and setting your eyes on the castle. The smell, the balloon guy etc is

This last time, we walked through One Man's Dream and watched the video. I got real chocked up in there. Sometimes its easy to forget all of Disney is the result of one man's dream. Walt. :littleangel:

I'm a loser, and I know this prior to posting this, but...

The Hall of Presidents truly gets to me. Maybe it's the air conditioning, but I'm always so thrilled to be in that theater.

I forgot to mention this. That movie always gets me!

Not an outright cry (really - it's the smoke from the fireworks :) ) but Illuminations gets me at a particular spot in the music.

Every. Darn. Time.

I CRY during Wishes like no other. DH makes fun of me but the little girls voice singing at the end...oh it just makes me melt. Also every time we walk past Walt's statue...it make me smile to know that because of one man I can enjoy such great things and it makes me a little sad to know that he never got to see his own dream come to fruition.

Heck at least you all make it TO the park, I sit here THINKING about the rides and parades and just being there with my family and I start to darn near bawl like a baby!!! Heck just reading this thread I'm crying thinking about Wishes and IASW and POTC and NEMO......

so yea, you're not alone, and not a weirdo, bc at least you make it TO THE PARK LOL ;)

Wishes (when Aladdin wishes for the Genie's freedom because it is SO unselfish!) and American Adventure (because it is so patriotic that it makes you want to give blood.)

Definitely American Adventure!
And definitely Wishes, though I can hold it together a little better there. :)
I'm kind of expecting to tear up at MSEP when I get to see it next week since it's been so long since I have!
Sometimes Dumbo . . . almost any ride I rode a lot as a kid. I'm just so grateful to get back every year even if it's just for 1 day that I sometimes tear up just to be there!

Off the top of my head...

One Man's Dream, especially the movie at the end
Wishes
Mickey's Philharmagic, the music gets me every time
Carousel of Progress, especially when they have the movie running outside that shows Walt developing the attraction.

Oh, and I always cry when we first enter the Wilderness Lodge and when we step foot on Main Street and see the Castle. But, I reserve the right to cry any time and for apparently no reason while in the World. :goodvibes

Oh, and the ride on the DME bus back to the airport makes the tears flow, too. On our last trip, everyone around me starting teasing me because I had to ask DH for a tissue. Embarrassing but true!
