Is there any straight forward way to change contract on reservation?

Trying to figure out if I’m able to rebalance points after a reservation is made. Member services did an initial rebalance after I bought more points direct, but really want to get my Aulani points back so that I can use them to help anchor an 11 day grand villa reservation in June 2023.

If it's the same resort and membership then it won't be a problem. If it was an 11 month reservation you won't be able to swap out points from a different home resort.

You should just be able to go in and modify the existing reservation and choose the contracts that you want to use when it comes to that screen. If that doesn't work then you may have to call.

It sounds like you bought some non-Aulani points recently. if you made the reservation more than 7 months in advance, the points cannot be swapped out by anyone. It requires a cancel and rebook. Member services can Assist with the cancel and rebook or you can do it online.

Availability is subject to change, of course.

You can't break the home resort advantage. If you booked more than 7 months out, your contracts are locked in. If you booked within 7 months, then you should be able to rebalance yourself by going through the "modify" function of the website, but you have to act like you're changing dates.

It all depends on when the reservation was made and with what points. You check the order of the contracts when you go to modify.

To free up your Aulani points for the reservation, you must have made it less than 7 months or less if the points you want to use are from a different resort.
