hey i was wondering if anyone was a big fan of soccer like me. My favorite teams are manchester united and real madrid. Whats everyones favorite soccer team in the world?
Yes, I'm a soccer fan!! I'm sure nobody else on this whole board has heard of my favorite team (considering people from Milwaukee have never even heard of them )- the Milwaukee Wave. They play in the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL). If there are any other MISL fans out there, I'd be surprised, because not too many people follow the league.
I love soccer!!!! But Boo-Hoo we lost the Tampa Bay Mutiny so I don't follow MLS anymore.
Now my favorite team is the one DD plays on .
And the US National Team - Men and Women's. I use to love wacting the Italian Leaque, but since we don't have cable anymore I don't get that futbol fix. I have to settle for the few decent games the Spanish channel carries every Sunday. GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!
That's what your username is referring to??? All this time, I always wondered!!
wdwgirl -- My family rarely misses a Cleveland Force (formerly Cleveland Crunch) game. We've probably been to 75% of their games for the past 8 years or so.

Indoor soccer is bumper pool played with people. It's not real soccer (But, yes, I've heard of the Wave and the Crunch. We used to have an indoor team in NY called the Apollo.)
I agree that indoor soccer's not "real" soccer -- but we don't have much real soccer around Cleveland, unless we want to trek down to Columbus (which I've done once or twice). Indoor soccer's entertaining, taking it for what it is -- that, and my son loves it, so it's cheap entertainment.

Cool!!! My family rarely misses a Wave game. We've only missed a handful of games over the past few seasons.
I don't care if indoor soccer isn't "real" soccer, it's still fun to watch, and heck, it's all I've got here in Milwaukee!! All of our other teams stink!!!
