used what copy right for there collectables? Like Disney, Walt Disney, Walt Disney Productions and so forth. When they used what and the dates?

You might try the US Copyright Office. They have search capabilities of their records. (I'm not sure whether there is a cost associated with that search or not).

Wow ya ever go to the web site for that place

1929-1939- "Enterprises"

1939-1986- "Productions"

1987- now- "Disney"

The very first true "Disney" merchandise was Oswald Rabbit items in 1927. The copyright read "Universal".

1929-1939 Walt Disney Enterprises

1930- ? Walt E. Disney and Walter E. Disney on foreign licensed merchandise.

1939 Walt Disney Productions, or W.D.P.

(1943-64: Postal zones started showing up on manufacturer's addresses)

1946-1951 "Made in Occupied Japan"

(1964 Zip codes were added to the postal system)

1971 W.D.P. and WDP were eliminated

1986 Walt Disney Co.

1987 Disney

Dude, it's the government. I think they get paid by the word. I try to stay away from copyright and patent searches, it makes my head hurt. I did find out that no one has patented the anti-microwave oven though so I got that one down.

Try and put in the word Disney. They own everything.
