Is there any hope that someone is going to pick up?

Ugh, I'm on hold with ticketing about trying to get an expired ticket in my account upgraded to new dates.

I called a bit after 6pm and was super excited when the system told me it was an 11 minute wait. I got right to a person and told her my issue. She put me on hold to get a ticket specialist. The system told me it would be more than a 10 minute wait. It's been 1 hour and 30 minutes since then and I'm still getting the hold music.

Is there any chance that I'm still in a queue, or am I in phone purgatory? I don't want to give up, because it will be several more days before I can try again and time is running out.

Maybe try first thing in the morning right before the lines open. Just keep dialing a bit before and you should get in pretty early. I also wonder if trying on a Saturday or Sunday morning is better, because who wants to wake up early on the weekend to call Disney :confused3

I just called back on my husband's phone. The CM I just talked to said that the current wait for ticketing is 247 minutes. I guess I still have 2 hours to wait. Ugh!

I am up early on the weekends, but I hate to give up my place in line. I tried this morning, but at that point it was a 2 hour wait just to get to a CM, before I could even get in the ticketing queue.

The lines close at 9pm ET, which is in 15 minutes. You might as well wait for that. I assume they just disconnect at 9, but I have never been online that long. I had to call to apply tickets toward APs. I had to do it twice. I think I only waited 45 minutes total at line opening once. I can't remember how long the other was, because I was doing chores, surfing the web, and watching TV using my airpods. I don't work right now though, so my time is pretty free.

The ticketing line is open until 11pm eastern, so I still have time.

And... I just got a person! Fingers crossed I can get this ticket upgraded. :-)

"Only waited 45 minutes". How unfortunate that this is what we've come to with Disney, when 45 minutes on hold is a good thing. I got through once in 30 minutes and felt like I'd won the lottery or something 🤪

Honestly, whenever I call Disney, I strategically place the call when I’m doing other things. Actually, I find that I can get a lot of my errands taken care of and by the time they pick up, I’m ready to take care of my Disney business.

Sucks to waits so long, but I refuse to do nothing while on hold. I also found that first thing in the morning and get me through a lot quicker than midday or evening.
