adding on over the phone and adding on in person???

As I approach my next vacation (July 19:woohoo:) I know that I need to add on points...I saved for this one and really happy that I can do this in cash ....though I am quite sure I could use the money for something else but as I know my love of Disney trumps everything else:rotfl:

so should I do the add on in early july like I planned or wait until I arrive?
Tia

The incentives may not be the same. It may be better to add-on now over the phone if you believe the incentives won't be as good. If you add-on onsite, you may get some instant FastPasses.

I just added on over the phone on Thursday night. My points were in my account Friday afternoon. I haven't even gotten the paper work yet. boy that was fast. The current incentives are due to end/change on Monday 6/15, so my guide was working throughout the weekend to process BLT add ons. No one can guranteed that the next set of incentives will be better or worse. Good luck! I added on BLT and took the $8 incentive and the 3 day cruise, plus paid with my chase visa and got the 1% reward (= $100). I felt good that this was the best incentive choice for me. FYI -- there are some really good incentives out there right now, but end on Monday. You should take a look! "no pressure."

Hi, I added on yesterday(BLT 175pt,) over the phone.(It was almost TOO EASY!!) It literally took 10 minutes!! We are going to be in WDW in July and I thought of WAITING also. But with the $8. + 8. incentive at this time, I figured I would go ahead and do it because this deal is changing on Monday June 15th. And my guide did tell me that BLT would drop to only $5. off per point on Monday. She did say AKV and SSR would remain the same?? She TOLD me this info AFTER I had purchased and we were just chatting. So I guess THAT is what she has heard. Joan

I dont know if I will am eligible for incentives now or will be in July since I am only looking to by 25BCV points...are incentives given for such low numbers:rotfl:

Not usually, and at BCV you will pay the higher(going) rate. I asked about adding on there before BLT became available. I have 125 pts there which USED to be fine for 4 nites in Feb. (Pres. Week) but it no longer is, so I only have 3 nites now:rolleyes:and will need to add more night(s) at the 7 month window.(if I can) So eventually I will need to add on 25 points there also!!;) By the way my PRINCESS DD is 24 and has been going to Disney since she was 2 years old and still LOVES it!! In fact she is living in Hawaii now BUT will be joining us in WDW for our July trip. It will be her 25th:bday:when we are in WDW and we do plan on CELEBRATING!! (I noticed your tag ;)) Joan

thanks for your advice..and much thanks for your assurance...bc as you know this stresses me on a daily basis

It depends on who your Guide is. Some Guides don't work at WDW and adding on there means your Guide has to split the commission. A split commission means less freebies.
