to have a renewal wedding ceremony at Disney world? We are going in November and I would love to do it then. Our 10 year anniversary is in October and I would love to plan something for november while we are there...but our budget is tight. :confused3 any ideas????

You can do a renewal through Disney Fairy Tale weddings or Just Marry. The ones through disney start around $2,500. I know there are a few on here who are doing a vow renewal and can give you a lot more info :thumbsup2

thanks for the quick response...I was soooo hoping for something just a little bit cheaper!

I think Just Marry is a little cheaper and they only do weddings at either the Swan or Dolphin hotels. There isn't a drastic difference in price, but some. Sorry, it just isn't cheap to marry or renew vows at Disney, stinks I know ;)

For our wedding last January, my parents booked us a Turret Suite at Yacht Club. It has a nice octagonal sitting room with a lovely view of the lake that was the perfect size for our guests (12) to stand around in a circle while we had the ceremony, and then we had the room for our wedding night.

Let me know if you want more details...

see the FAQ on Swan and Dolphin Wedding hehe. and by a little cheaper it's really just like few hunderd bucks. but it's atleast $2000.
you save on not having to stay at disney resort for 4 nights.
but at same time you need to find a photographer. (if needed)
no other cheap ways to do it ON disney property.
there's a recent discussion about 'other' ways to have a wedding on disney property. but draw your own conclusion after reading http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1070187

if you don't mind sharing, how inexpensive you're thinking of?
I mean the other ways is perhaps have a renewal elsewhere but have a renewal honeymoon at WDW. just remember to get a disney bride and groom band/hat !

Congratulation on your upcoming 10 years :)

This maybe would work for me...getting married somewhere right outside...then just enjoying the honeymoon...afterall...our son will be with us! Not too much enjoying going on...LOL
