Complete and total newbie and someone who knows or understand nothing about smart phones....but I recenlty got one.
So help me understand what you mean by Safari Browser. how do I do this? And again, explain it like I am 6 (funny thing though, I think my 6 year old is more smart phone literate than I am )

Safari is the Apple made web browser. Other browsers are Google Chrome (which I use), Internet Explorer by Microsoft, etc.

Just look on your iPad for Safari and use it like any other web browser.

I'm reading the question as being that the OP want's to know if there is an

For the iPad, I just use Safari. On my iPhone, I use eTicket. It formats it nicely for the small screen. I am writing this post from my eTicket app.

I like the eticket app for my iphone. I use it on the ipad too, but it doesn't look as good because it's made for a small screen. When you blow it up to fit the screen it's slightly blurry. So usually on the ipad I just use the safari browser.

OP, on your iPad, Safari is the app that looks like a little compass, down at the bottom of your screen. It's next to the Mail app.

What kind of phone do you have?

On a iphone you use Safari as your browser

On a droid you can use the out of the box Internet app or download a few other browsers like opera or chrome.

On a windows 7 I'm assuming there is some sort of Internet Explorer Mobile installed

Which ever one you have its what you would use to load a webpage and just like one you computer you would put www.disboards.com into the address bar.
