Is there a way to change a DING! flight?

I got a DING! ISP-MCO for my family last week. When the DING! came up 2 days I went to purchase seats for my BIL and niece. I had to book them on earlier flight for the return trip because our flight wasn't available. This morning that flight is available is there anything I can do?

I just cancelled my existing flight and rebooked a DING fare using the credit. Now, the original flights were not DING fares but I think it would be the same.

Love SW! Our flights have gone down over 50%! We now have more left in travel credit than it is actually costing us to fly. We are going to use that credit for a trip in July.

I read some more. i assume I can book the new one, cancel the old one and get credit for a future flight. Would the credit be in the ticket holders name or my name since it was my cc? My BIL will never use the credit

You can also change from one DING fare to another DING fare. I had booked Phily to MCO for 4 of us about 2 weeks ago. Loved the price but wasn't thrilled with the 4 hour drive each way from home to Airport and back, plus $100.00 for long term parking and God only knows how much gas I would use. Well last week another DING came out for Htfd to MCO for only $20 more R/T for each ticket. I called SW and they gave me an instant credit on my Phily tickets and I was able to book the Htfd flight right away. I applied the credit from the cancelled tickets and paid the extra $80 for our 4 tickets and now only have a 1-1/2 hour ride to the airport and someone can drive us there and pick us up on our return, so no long term parking.

I thought about doing that but I'm afraid in the couple of minutes that it takes the DING! will be sold out. I'm just going to keep their flights as is it's only a few hours, no big deal.

NOT A GUARANTEE but have two browser windows open. Just before you have to pay for your new reservation go to your second browswer window and cancel your existing reservation. Normally the ticketless funds become available immediately and you can complete your new reservation. Worse case scenario use a credit card to complete your transaction and you'll have your credit for future use.
