Is there a warrantee on merchandise?

I was in the Park in October and before we left I bought a messenger purse/bag from the Disney Store and have been using it regularly since. I've noticed some fraying on the leather where the bag meets the strap in the corner.

Can I call Disney and explain and get a replacement or is there no warrantee? Or is it a 30-day kind of thing?

TIA

With 6 months of regular use, I would consider it wear and tear or cheaply made or both. If it had only been a month I would think different, but you never know what they would be willing to do.

I generally agree that after 6-months, I would think this would be considered normal wear and tear or low quality workmanship. It's probably worth calling because you might get some pixie dust and they'll replace the item, but don't be surprised if they can't do anything at this point.

The back of the Parks receipts doesn't really mention what happens if an item breaks or starts to show wear. The receipt does say "No returns or exchanges will be accepted after 30 days from the date of purchase or if the merchandise has been used or worn."

It depends on what you bought. The regular Disney products don't have warranties that I know of. Now Vera Bradleys and Dooney and Burke have them through the parent company. So it really depends if it was just one of the Disney bags or was a designer bag that has Disney patterns. I find the Disney ones never hold up to wear and tear so I pay more the the known labels that hold up better.

Just a Disney bag... couldn't afford a D&B (this time around ;))

I'll contact them and see what they say. Thanks everyone.
