Is there a ride you traditionally go on FIRST?

Every trip the first ride is BTMRR. Affectionately titled "the little trains" when dd was 3 years old.

Next wednesday morning......

I always start my trip at EPCOT. My first ride (after watching the fountain for at least 30 minutes :) ) is Test Track.

MK: Splash Mtn.

MGM: The ToT

AK: The Safari

Roberta

MK first park and first ride is the Railroad train around the park. Then to Tomorrowland Transportation Authority--the "old" People Mover.

Pre DD and DD's first trip it used to be:

MK - Dumbo
MGM - Star Tours
Epcot - Spaceship Earth
AK - KS

Now that she's older and is a thrill junkie, it has been changed to:

MK - Aladdin (only because we now seem to start in Adventureland)
MGM - ToT
Epcot - Test Track
AK - Dinosaur

I try to do things I think will be real crowded later. I would also rather wait longer for a longer or more spectacular attraction. At Epcot I go for two days so it depends on what I have scheduled for the day.

MK Pooh, Peter Pan and Buzz come first.

Epcot Test Track or Spaceship Earth and Living with the Land

Studios ToT

AK Dinosaur because no one else hardly heads over there. Then I do ITTbaB as there isn't a line for that yet. I usually do the Safari with a fastPass.

First stop every trip

MK-POC

Epcot-Cranium Command

MGM- Tune-In

AK-Dawa

For me, my first and last ride of the ENTIRE trip just has to be Spaceship Earth ! (and I do many more of those in-between )

Magic Kingdom - If I'm going left, then it's Jungle Cruise or Pirates. If I'm going right, then its off to Space Mountain.

Epcot - Ellen's Energy Adventure

MGM - Tower of Terror

Animal Kingdom - Dinosaur

We have been following the same schedule for years. Since the early entry days have changed we will have to revamp the schedule for our next trip. However, our FIRST day will be somewhat the same. We always take the early morning flight out of Indianapolis on Saturday morning arriving in Orlando around 10:00 am. After getting to the resort and checking in we head to Epcot for lunch (starving by time we get there) at Le Cellier. Then we proceed around the WS counter-clockwise. We can get as far as Morocco before dinner time so we eat dinner there. We skip Illuminations the first night and head back to the resort for some shut eye since we were out of bed at 3:00 am. So I guess our first "ride" is O Canada immediatley after lunch.

We too, have our 'traditions'.

First stop:

MGM: RnR Coaster -- it RULES!

EPCOT: Test Track

MK: Peter Pan

AK: Safari

We HAVE to do the Trans. Authority JUST after dusk....not sure why....? We HAVE to have a mid-day break of Choc. Chip cookies, usually watching one of the parades, and we HAVE to end our day with ice-cream and a stroll thru yet another shoppe, JUST in case there's something else that we just HAVE to buy......

Sigh......i wanna go back RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When we watch the afternoon parade in the MK, we always stand just in front of the Diamond Horseshoe Saloon. As soon as the parade is over one of us grabs a table and someone else grabs the drinks and we stay for the next show (ususally scheduled shortly after the parade). We have been doing it this way forEVER.

Our first ride on an MK ee morning is Alien Encounter, then Buzz, then Space Mountain. When we return to the MK for an afternoon and evening, the first thing we hit is Swiss Family Tree House (why I'm not sure, but we love it).

At MGM we do RnR and then ToT, Great Movie Ride, and then the first show of the Little Mermaid. We ALWAYS eat lunch at Prime Time on our first day at MGM.

Animal Kingdom is Kilamanjaro Safaris. We go at a brisk pace and usually get the first safari out in the morning. The animals tend to be a little more active at that time because they have just been fed. We have gotten some really great pictures of the lions (especially the males) in the mornings. The rest of the day they just lie around watching football (oops, wait.....wrong alpha male). The rest of the day they just lie around waiting for the females to bring them something to eat (lions do that too, you know).

oops......sorry (you really shouldn't double click on that little button).

Depends on which park we go to first, and if it is Extra Magic Hour Morning, or not.

At MK, if it is Extra Magic Hour, we go on Dumbo 1st, if not, we we go on Splash Mountain.

At Epcot, we always go on Test Track 1st.

At MGM, we usually go on RnR 1st regardless.

At AK, we go on Dinosaur 1st. We haven't been to Extra Magic Hour there since it has opened, but I would think we would likely go on Kilomanjaro Safari 1st.

The Monorail. Does that count? The first day we arrive we never go to the parks. Just hang out at the pool and DTD. But in the evening we always go for a ride on the resort monorail and then onto the EPCOT mono.

To us....it dosen't get any better than that!
