Is there a Restaurant to watch Illuminations?

You really can't seemuch of Illuminations from the Boardwalk - just the high fireworks.

If you're lucky enough to get a table, Rose & Crown and Cantina San Angel have great views of the water.

There are restaurants at DTD, but you are not going to see much of Illuminations from there.

We ate at LeCellier and walked out and stood right outside the restaurant to watch.

There is a CS Mexican Restaurant that has outside seating....I don't know if you can see Illum. from the seating area or not....

Just clarifying for the OP.....Illuminations is a show that takes place on the World Showcase lagoon, and consists of music, fireworks, fire, water and lighting effects, and video projected on a globe that floats on the lagoon.

You won't see all, or even most, of Illuminations unless you have a clear line of sight to the lagoon. The Rose & Crown has some seats on a patio that provides this view, and most of the Cantina's seating has a decent view.

If you're outside of Epcot, the most you'll see is a few of the highest fireworks. These can be seen from some areas at the Boardwalk, but I don't believe you'll see much of anything from inside any of the BW restaurants.

DTD is a few miles away from Epcot; you won't see anything from there.

Make an ADR at the Rose & Crown and ask for a patio table...if you get the ADR for 8:00 or so then you can stay thru Illuminations...we've eaten there many times and done this...you'll hear varying opinions on the food but I've never had a bad meal there...I think the food is quite good.

we do this on every trip. get to cantina(mexico) around 7:30 and get a table by the lake outside. i get my nachos and magaritas and sit back and relax and you have the best view of Illuminations! this was one of our favorite things to do! my 6yr dd loves it too! she loves the churros!

We have gone to Rose & Crown around 8:00. However, we were never able to snag an outdoor table.

However, they did permit us to stand outside and watch Illuminations - a very nice unobstructed view!
