Is there a resort that is usually more likely to grant a Waitlist request faster then another?

I need to book a trip before 3/31/20. I waitlisted for GF end of Feb (Home is OKW). If I don't get GF then I don't really care where else we stay, just wondering if there is one that i should pick that has a higher rate of being granted.

GF will be difficult, the larger resorts tend to be more available. OKW, SSR, AK also the unit size matters. studios will be rare, 2 BRs next and 1 BR most available. Good luck have a great trip.

SSR is probably the highest, followed by OKW and AKV.

SSR has the triple-whammy in that it's one of the largest resorts with more rooms than most of the resorts, it's more expensive (points wise) than OKW, and it's considered by a large-percentage of DVC members to be an inferior resort and typically one of their last picks. This makes it highly available and (in my opinion) the most likely wait list to be successful.

You are allowed two waitlist requests at the same time. If you don't have any current reservation then make SSR or OKW your second waitlist request to maximize your chance of getting a room. But in the meantime, keep checking on your phone throughout the day for all of the WDW resorts, which is easy to do and only takes about a minute, whenever you have a free moment. Many people including myself have had success with this strategy.

Forget about GFV. Check out SSR, OKW or AKV, like BillPA suggested. Don't wait until the end of February to change. Do it now.
