is there a problem with the boards

sorry for posting here but this is the first page I could bring up without waiting 6 minutes.

Is there a problem with the disboards? For the last few weeks it has been real sloooow for me . I check other websites and have no problems with speed.
I don't post as much anymore because I can't get on without a long wait on each and every thread.

I've read here on the DisBoards that they are doing an upgrade. I'm not sure if that is true; I have also had problems with the site for weeks, and it does cut back the number of posts I have been able to do.

Internet sites have a limit of users depending on the size of the servers. DIS is upgrading theirs.

I am glad the Dis is getting more people because that means it will get more interesting however I am waiting for the dis boards to update there server this is the best day for me this week

I have been having issues for ell over a month, but lately is has gotten horrible. Sometime it times out my login while it is spinning trying to do a post.

Alex the DIS Webmaster is well aware of the problem and is working to upgrade the hardware and to fix the slow response time.

For what we all pay to play here, I guess we need to have some patience and give Alex time to work his magic.

Further questions about board speed should be posted on the Technical Support Forum since they are not DVC related.

The issue is being worked on and it affects everyone the same way. We all need to be patient until the new servers are online. Posting the same question repeatedly actually adds to the problem and takes away bandwidth from others looking for DVC or WDW travel information.
