Is there a parade everyday like in WDW??
Will this new celebrate parade be everyday???

We have always gone during peak seasons & the parades were daily. During slower times, it sounds like they were more of a weekend thing. It will depend on when you are going.

I'm looking at May thur-sun
Will I be disapointed if WDW was my first park
I heard I may and that 1 day was enough

You need more days at WDW just because it's so spread out, but you DEFINITELY can't do DLR in just one day.

They have always had the parade everyday when we have gone. Didn't matter if it was down time or not. I read that the Celebrate Parade is supposed to start up the end of March. Once it starts, it'll probably be every day. The only parade that I know is seasonal is the Electrical Parade.

I'm not sure what the schedule will look like for May.... but your stay is thru the weekend so the parade(s) should be running.
I believe there's a "sticky" on WDW vs DL that would be helpful in preparing you for our little park. The big thing to know is.....don't try to compare it to WDW....it is different, smaller, quainter & we love it. You can walk back & forth between the 2 parks & also walk to DTD. Everything is very close.
I would plan on spending more than 1 day. If it is very, very, very slow, you could possibly see most of what the park(s) have to offer....but I don't think you'd be able to truly enjoy the park. 3 days (if doing DL & DCA) is usually a good number of days to spend.
I'd look thru the topics at the top of the forums & get a feel (and pics) of DL & then feel free to ask questions. Lots of great tips & info in these forums.

Enjoy planning your trip & I hope you'll see the magic we all love at DL.!!!!! :flower3:

Do NOT compare Disneyland to WDW or you will be disappointed. You need to compare Disneyland to the Magic Kingdom. Park to park. And if you do that - you will NOT be disappointed.

And no, 1 day is not enough. :goodvibes

Hope this helps,
