Is there a new bus route from BWV to MK??

I thought I read here awhile ago that changes are being made to the existing bus service from the BWV's over to the MK. Is this true or did I dream it???

It has been reported on the DVC Board that there is a direct bus running from BW to MK during peak times (so the bus is empty when it picks up at the BW and goes straight to the MK). The return buses still make 5 stops with the BW being the last one, so it is still faster to leave the bus at the Swan and walk to the BWV/BWI from there. Of course this is much less convenient if you have youngsters along and it's nearing nap time or bed time for them.

MOD (Magic On Demand) is a highly dynamic dispatching system that responds to demand in the morning at the resorts.

If there is a high demand for Boardwalk only, then it will get its own bus. (High demand would be greater than 55-65 people per 10-15 minutes) Capacity for a bus is 72-80 people.

Saw the same post but have stayed at BWV twice in the interim and did not see dedicated buses

The bus service is inconsistent at the Epcot resorts - sometimes great and sometimes poor - it is the most inconsistent that we have experienced at the WDW properties we have stayed at

I belong to the DVC and the BW is my "Home Resort". I have to admitt, I've never really had a "problem" with the transportation there.

However, this past summer there was one day where I began to worry just a little. It was an EE morning at the MK and the lines at the bus stop were very long. One bus arrived and barely made a dent in the line. Then another arrived half full. Unfortunately we still couldn't get on. But right behind that bus was a totally empty bus and it made only 1 more stop then directly to MK.

So I'm hoping that this will hold true again this summer.

Last weekend one bus stop at MK was for Swan/Dolphin and another was BC/YC and Boardwalk. Going the bus just stopped at Dolphin and Swan.

Coming back one bus just sopped at the Swan and Dolphin. The next day the bus that came into the to Boardwalk BC/YC spot also said Swan/Dolphin on the bus. All of us waiting at the Swan/Dolphin spot walked across and took that bus (made all the stops).

I guess they are trying to come up with a solution. Prehaps it depends on hotel occupany? Swan/Dolpin were completely sold out.
