Subbing. Hoping for something for the week of the 6th!

Rooting for you guys to get a great discount! We were actually booked for a stay at the Poly that week (and hoping for a code as well), but the Mardi Gras and Spring Break crowds are expected to arrive in full force starting the 6th so I ended up cancelling. Best of luck to those of you going then, for great discounts (and weather).

I'm not sure I'm buying the spring break crowds that week. I had no problem getting ADRs at the exact times and places I wanted them. That's not to say they won't book later, but there isn't a huge push right now. Plenty of availability out there in the resorts too. I still think with Easter so late this year its going to be hard to predict what happens the second week of March. Just my 2 cents!

I wasn't either, until I saw the posted hours for MK that week (open til 11:00 p.m. each night, Electric Parade every night), extra showings of Fantasmic, AK open til 6 p.m., etc. Plus that week is rated a crowd level 4 out of 5 ... too much for my liking. Still hoping it won't be that bad for you and the rest.

And I'm right there with you watching that stuff too, which makes it hard to plan. Maybe they are doing the wishful thinking! We're inside 180 days and I'm still seeing lots of availability in the resorts. You can still get a family suite at All Stars that week, and those usually go pretty fast during a holiday period. I guess I'll find out when I'm walking down the middle of Main Street, USA in March, but for now, I keep hoping!

I am hear to tell you that there is really no such thing as "mardi gras crowds". People that are interested in celebrating Mardi Gras are not in FL. I hear that there is another city on the Gulf of Mexico that does a pretty mean party there.

However, cheerleaders are a real fear to have. They damn near take over DHS for two days or so. For us last year that was around March 11th and 12th or so.

We are booked at the POP from March 26-Ap 2, 2011. We usually go the second week of July (we were there this past July). My son's band is playing at MK that week. How do you think the crowds will be that week compared to summer? It isn't Easter. Never been that time of year.

I'm also hoping a good code comes along so I can add it.

I think the idea of Mardi gras crowds is not that people are coming to celebrate, but families in the New Orleans area are coming to Disney World to escape it.

We are thinking about going down for spring break this year ~ March 26-April 2. Since we are going on the Dream in Nov 2011, I'm hoping to sneak in a trip before then. We were just there in August but I'm ready to go again!!

You know I am going with the philosophy that if Disney thinks there are going to be 2 months full of "Spring Breakers" then crowds should be pretty spread out...I just hope they help us spring breakers out by offering some deals....We are going March 12-20 first week of our spring break. Hoping and wishing for some Pixie Dust!!!

Disney Visa arrived today, so we're booked! 3/26-4/2 at the Poly, 7 day tickets with Park HOppers and Water Park and more, and the Regular DP. REAAAALLLY need a discount, total still due is over $6000. Yikes!!! Would like that to be in the $4000's!

I just booked at the CR Tower, MK view for March 27- Apr 2. I am really hoping for discounts to be announced. I am taking my daughter, and 2 of her friends to celebrate her 16th birthday. I am paying for everything and could use a little help!

need opinions......what is the crowd level supposed to be?? weather?? anybody know what kind of pin codes....will be at POP....i will have a guest assitance pass or one of the kids....will this help or hurt us....HELP!!!!

It is supposed to be pretty busy during that times. They are saying high crowd levels but the weather is beautiful that time of year.

I'm hoping to get a good discount or pin for March/early April. Can anyone tell me what to expect for the crowd levels? I usually go in October and this year went in January. Since Easter is so late this year I'm hoping we can avoid some crowds at least! We have airplane credits we have to use by April so this is the only chance we'll get to go next year

Should I book with the free dining deal or book for a few weeks into March and hope for another discount...we went in 09 with Free dining and thought it was a really good deal...If I book to check in on or by March 3th is my ADR window already open???? Do you think I would still be able to get good resturants????

We switched our dates to end of May/early June to take advantage of the free dining but we are still hopeful for March discounts because then we would switch back to our original dates for spring break. Going to have to commit to one or the other soon so we can purchase airfare.

Yes your ADR window is open. We are checking in on the 3rd as well. I just finished our last day (3/13) of ADR's today. We are a party of 12 and got all the times and places we wanted and we're on the DXDDP. Good Luck
