Really hoping they come through with a discount of some kind for my week in March.....may make the difference between driving and flying....yuck

We start our week two days after the Free Dining promotion ends. Really hoping for a room discount, as that will make the difference in staying at the Poly or a moderate.

We managed to move our arrival date to take advantage of FD. We are now March 2-9 with FD at Coronado Springs. I just checked online nad availibility is gone for Coronado for those dates. I am sooo glad I was on the phone at 6 am yesterday.

SO EXCITED!! Our 6th trip is now official, we are going Feb 27th - March 6th with free dining, staying at POFQ!

We've never been this time of year so we are eagerly anticipating this trip!
My ADR window opens August 31st so I have a few days to plan my ressies...I love planning trips!

Well our dates are not included in any of the promos so just to be safe we went ahead and changed our current rack rate package to POP in order to stay within out budget. Hopefully some kind of promo will be released in the coming months and we can go back to a moderate. If not, we will be happy at POP.

Just booked Grand Gathering (13 of us in 4 rooms) for 3/26-4/1 at POR. Will stay on the lookout, but for now...no discounts.

We'll have a blast anyway!

Boo! Why no March dates?? It looks like we will have to cancel our vacation since I was really hoping for the 4/3 deal. I have a feeling that discount is out the window since they just announced a FD deal for a time frame that's not been done before. Looks like they're changing things up?

I'm also wondering why they blacked out March & April? Do they foresee a big crowd and aren't feeling the need to offer discounts during that time? I know a lot have booked room only hoping for deals to come out (us included). Maybe that was a mistake? They may have March all wrapped up in their eyes. Hope not

My guess is that they are waiting to see how bookings look for March before announcing anymore discounts. We went the same week last year and CBR was 100% booked cause we tried to add an extra night. However, I feel the discounts are why the resorts were booked. The economy hasn't improved so my guess is they are going to have to offer something to more resort guests.

Just booked our stay at the POP from March 26-Ap 2, 2011 with a AAA discount. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that a better code will come out. I need a little pixie dust!!

I'm currently planning our 25th anniversary celebration for March. I'm thinking POFQ if there are no discounts, but hoping for a room only discount to upgrade to one of the monorail resorts.

I'm curious what the AAA discount typically is how and you get it (do you have to call?)

I'm not sure if it is the same for the moderate resorts but for the POP that I just booked yesterday it was 10%. I called to make the ressies and they took my AAA number and I need to bring the card at check in.

I'm hoping for a better code but it is better than nothing.

Historically in the Mods it's been 15-20% depending on season. It's anyone's guess what it will be this year.

Yes, you have to call. If you're booking a room only, you can call Disney and get the discount. If you're booking a package, you need to book through a AAA travel agent.

Thanks. I've gotten the AAA discount at Universal before and they do it the same way. I might give them a call and book something with the AAA discount and then see if something better comes along.
