ok! This must be it! Thinking of planning a Spring Break trip in March 2011....fingers crossed a code will come out and help me convince DH.

I haven't traveled in March before, but I did the research. Last year 4/3 came out Sept 28th and room only came out in early Jan. The year before 4/3 hit later (I think Dec.) with room only shortly behind. Year before last there was also a gift card deal that could be added to the 4/3. I don't think they could be combined last year.

We are planning March 5th -11th. We are also hoping to escape Mardi Gras here in New Orleans. Looking for a Pin Code. If not we will stay at Swan or Dolphin using the teacher discount, which makes it cheaper than a Disney Moderate.

I looked at those exact dates at swan and dauphin and the actual difference with the teacher discount is only about $10 a night by the time you pay the resort fee and parking. I wasn't worth it for us not to be able to get the dining plan and room charging privliges.

So lets say they offer both the 4/3 and the room only discounts and you have the 4/3 booked...can you change to the room only if the rate is better?

It just dawned on me that the 4/3 is inclusive of passes....i am REALLY hoping they offer that again!

also going during mardi gras week but only for a short stay to go to universal. march 8-12. looking for room only discount rates for pop! the weather should be really good then.

We're also hoping for the 4/3. I ran all the numbers for 4/3, room discount, and gift card. (Yes, I'm an overplanner ) We will be staying at the CBR for the first time if the 4/3 comes out. My kids are SSSOOOOO excited already!

Right now I am planning on staying at the Pop Century but if the 4/3 promotion comes out again I will upgrade to a mod resort, most likely CBR....can't wait!

We are hopefully going 2/26 - 3/5 or 6. In years past was the 4/3 offer also in Feb?? Do you all suggest I book my package now and then call back once the promotions are released (or if I get a PIN). Will they adjust the price?

We are a family of 5 so limited on the resorts we can stay at. I am looking at Port Orleans. I think that is the only Moderate that has trundle beds. The suites at the Music were a bit more expensive. Anyone have experience booking a room for 5?

Joining in!!! Planning a Mardi Gras trip and would LOVE to get a discount or pin.

Hoping Mardi Gras is not quite as busy as this past July was, but I think Louisiana is just going to shut down and head over there.

Count me in. I am not sure what dates in March yet as they are flexible. I would like to stay at POFQ with discount but if no great discount will stay at POP. The kids each want to go to WDW with mom this year by themselves. So my plan is to take one child in March, one child in Sept, and one child in Dec. I plan on buying an Annual pass in March as a birthday present to myself as well as take the first trip. However if the discounts are great and include the tickets then I just may get them each time. So many options.

Someone asked about family of 5. We are a family of 5 and stayed at POR. We enjoyed the stay there very much. My kids actually liked it better then CBR this year. They loved the boat to DTD and the liked the bus route much better here then CBR. I liked POR because of the trundle bed. My dd moves around a lot in her sleep and if she is on a normal bed she usually falls out. The trundle bed is pretty much on the floor so if she fell out no big deal.

Yes we went in 2007 the crowds were not packed but a lot of people from Louisiana go that week. We had a great time anyway. Trying to get DH to go again that week DS is ready to go.

well, the last time i went during mardi gras week it was crowded. not only does LA people get out so do we in Mobile, Alabama and i know a lot of people that go that week every yr. we are still going though, just have a good plan.

Jumping into this thread, hoping for some promotion codes. Coming out for our Spring Break 3/25-4/4. Staying at our home resort of Saratoga and taking our first Disney Cruise on the Dream but needing two nights at the beginning of the trip.
