There is an outdoor mall called the Block at Orange, and it is relatively close to Disneyland. You can get there either by freeway or by surface streets.
Or there's Main Place Santa Ana. It's a traditional indoor mall and is not far from Disneyland either.
also the garden walk which is pretty much next door. not sure how filled it is at the moment.. some locations like the bubba gump just opened back in nov/dec, but it should be filling up pretty quickly, depending on when you go

Is it a good mall?
Oh, and thanks!![]()
What exactly are you looking for? We usually go to Main Place for the food court. My wife likes Paradise Bakery for their salads and cookies (better than Mrs Fields in our opinion). The Block tends to be populated by teens and twenty-somethings, but has quite a few interesting restaurants. Is it a good mall?

I'd say you want The Block.Well, to be honest, girls, mostly.![]()
The Block has a Borders. Near the Borders is a trendy bowling alley that seems like a hang-out. There's also a Dave & Busters that has a bit of a party atmosphere. And a Borders (or Barnes N Noble, or B. Dalton) bookstore...![]()
I believe it's a Westfield property if you want to do a search.
Anchor stores are Nordstrom, Macy's and JCPenney.
Pretty typical suburban mall fare.
It's certainly not as upscale as South Coast Plaza (Costa Mesa) or Fashion Island (Newport Beach)
But it's also much closer to Disney... about 6 miles.
I'd say you want The Block.
