I am in the planning stage of our second  Disney vacation, and would like to find a list of the different choices of transportation to and from the various parks and resorts. Is there such a thing, and if yes, can you direct me to it????? Thank you, and have a Magical day!:)

There's no good list that I am aware of available online. If you have some specific resorts in mind, it's probably best to list those and get some input on available options. In general, bus service is the most common.

The three monorail resorts obviously have monorail service to the MK and to Epcot. The Poly, GF, WL and FW also have boat service to the MK and you can walk to the MK from the CR. The Epcot area resorts--YC/BC, BW and S/D--have boat transportation to both Epcot and DHS and are within walking distance from both parks too. Other than that, bus service is the only option for resort-to-park transportation.

That's a great summary!

Only 2 things to add:

- from the Poly you can walk to the TTC and then get the Epcot monorail

- from Port Orleans and OKW/SSR there are boats to Downtown Disney and back

Two more things to add to the additions:

You can walk between the Contemporary and the Magic Kingdom
You can walk between SSR and Downtown Disney

I have a fantastic transportation map that I got from my first trip in 2000. I have copied for friends, and it is starting to get a lot of wear on it. One day when I unfold it, I think it is going to rip in half.

I wish they still gave those out; even for a small price, it would be worth it.
