Is there a kids menu for Kona cafe?

We're staying at the Polynesian in April and would like to have a calm dinner at our resort on the first night but I can't find a kids menu for them anywhere. Is there one? Is Kona Cafe kid friendly? They will be 5 and 1 at the time.

Yes there is a kids' menu. One dated August 2009 can be found at

Many families with children eat at all Disney restaurants, can't tell if this one is more or less child friendly than any other one. I would guess the ultimate in child-friendliness is character meals. Leaving out Victoria & Alberts which does not admit children under 10, the least child-friendly restaurant is probably Bistro de Paris. All other Disney restaurants fall somewhere in between those two, but more toward child-friendliness because it is Disney.

We went there with our two ds's on 10/25. Our kids are 5 and 2. They were a little slow to bring our food (a late dinner, like 7:30) But they were really accommodating of my 2 yo's milk allergy. Made the same dessert as my 5 yo's, but with soy ice cream. Which was nice. DH and I loved the food. We'd go there again. We shopped in the Poly gift shop while we were waiting to be seated, so that was nice also.

My nephew loved the Kona kids menu choices. And the CM are great

I have found the kitchen really slow there so I would suggest an early dinner with kids! My DH and I haven't taken kids there yet, it was our date night last February, but there were other families there (and it was late!) and they waited a while with grumpy kids.
The selection according to the Allears is the typical fare for kids that Disney provides, nothing special to Kona which is disapointing considering what they could do for kids.
If you go I suggest the Tuna Oscar! Best. Entree. Ever!!
