Is there a fridge in the WL standard rooms?

No, I don't think so. At least there weren't any in Aug of 2003. You had to request one and I think it was $10 a day. We missed the mimi bar we had the time before that when we had a courtyard view.

According to other disboard members, all of the deluxe resorts and many moderates now have fridges in the rooms. I called WL and was told I did not have to request one they are standard, so I'm assuming they are in place.

We were there 2 weeks ago. We did ask for and received a fridge, free, but not already in the room.

but if yours doesn't and you want it, they get one up to you quickly and yes...it's free.

Thanks for the heads up. I called the WL directly and was told fridges were in all of the rooms. We are going in two weeks so I'll make sure I ask for one at check-in.

I'm so glad that all the rooms have them now. This is our favorite resort and the last time we used our cooler. Didn't think to ask for one b/c we figured it would cost more.

I am assuming this just applies to deluxe resorts? The value resorts there would still be a $10.00 per day charge for them in the room? Also, the ones that you pay for, would a 2 liter bottle of soda and gallon of milk fit in there? Back in 2000 when we went to ASMovies and rented one, it was VERY small, not the size of a minibar.

Value resorts still have a charge for them. Moderates have them in the room alreayd.

Stayed at POR in December and we had one. It was already in the room.
