Is there a DVC owners advocate group?

This might not come out right, but........have any person/group of homeowners gotten together to be some kind of spokesman for the group?

If you are talking about a group of DVC owners that talk amongst themselves about concerns...discussion forums such at this is about as good as it gets.

If you are talking about having an actual Representative as a liaison to the DVC board...no. DVC owners have no actual vote, but the board does seem to take into consideration the desires of DVC members when it can, and if it is to the benefit of Disney. For instance, the discounted AP was something many members wanted for a long time, so we know they had a lot of requests for that from members...and it also benefits sales of DVC. Remember that often the "salesmen" of DVC are the existing members, so I do think they try to keep us happy...but everything has to be negotiated between WDW and DVC. And discounts have to be "reasonable."

Yes your second paragraph answered the question. This was not a negatively toned question , it was just a curiosity because I am as brand new as it gets. Not stupid, but new.

Who said anything about being "stupid?" Most new members don't know that DVCers don't actually have a vote on anything. It is a very common misunderstanding.
