Is There A Disney Resort With A Better Pool Than CSR?

Is anyone aware of a pool complex that compares to The Dig Site at CSR?

Planning a trip early in June. We stayed at the Coronado Springs last time and really enjoyed the pool complex.

We wanted to branch-out to another resort. But my DDs want an amazing pool experience.

Can anyone give me ideas what would compare to CSRs Dig Site Pool??

The pool at the BC is definitely better than the pool at CSR... it is called Stormalong Bay and includes a sandy bottom, whirlpools, shipwreck slide, several hottubs, bridges, and (I believe) three separate pools. It is basically a mini-water theme park and a lot of fun! Many people stay at the BC/YC just because of Stormalong Bay... I don't think any other resort pool compares.

The Yacht Club and Beach Club share the very best pool on property. It's practically a 3 acre water park. Portions of it are sand bottom, there is a lazy river, and a 200 foot long slide. There are also 3 hot tubs.

Here is another thumbs-up for Stormalong Bay at the YC/BC. This pool is the best on property, IMHO!

I agree that Stormalong Bay is the best pool experience, but it is a Deluxe and it's out of our price range. We stayed at POR and swam there and at POFQ (both moderates) and we loved the pool area. We talked to friends who've been to CSR, POR and POFQ and they liked the pool at POFQ the best.

Well, there are plenty of great pools in the Deluxe and home-away-from-home WDW hotel classes. SAB at the BC/YC is the most amazing, but Luna Park at BW is great, as is the Volcano pool at Polyand the cool feature pool at the new Saratoga Springs. Plus they're buildnig a great new sandcastle themed slide at OKW which should also be great.

But sticking to the Moderate class, the only one that can compare (and possibly exceed) the Dig Site pool would be the cool Dragon pool at POFQ, which is one of the best at WDW.

Storm-A-Long Bay at the YC/BC and the Grotto at the S/D are better than the pool area at CSR.

SAB IS WONDERFUL BUT MAY BE CROWDED. we also like the pools at Poly and Vwl. Great slides.
