Downtown Disney?

Or do we have to go to a resort in between?

Thanks!

I want to use my new AP discount to buy a Pal Mickey, but you know... maybe it's just not worth the hassle of going all the way to DD for it, when we don't have other reasons to go this trip.

I am not sure, but I think that you can purchase Pal Mickey at the theme parks.

I plan on doing the exact same thing! My plan is to take the monorail to GF, then bus to DTD. Where exactly are the bus stops for the GF?

You can walk to the Contemporary and then take a bus but is the savings on one item worth what will probably be a 2 hour trip?

10% of $70 is $7. I am sure there are other souveniers you would like to get.

We typically look as we are in the parks and have our girls decide on what they want to get. Then, we take a trip to DTD and they get it at World of Disney with the discount. Saves some dollars. We always do a DTD trip during our visit, it is worth it.

With Pal Mickey, though, I'd want to have him the whole trip to enjoy him in the parks... so I'd have to go to DTD the first evening we get there. I'm just not sure the time away from Magic Kingdom that night is worth $7. That's just me. :)

If it were other souvenirs like art, etc., that I would enjoy more at home, I'd probably make more of a point to get to DTD sometime during the trip.

But who knows... I did want to go to Pleasure Island one night, actually... maybe I can live without Pal Mickey the first day.
