Is there a covid PCR testing site in or near Walt Disney World? (so that the 4 year old can be tested prior to our cruise)

We'll be on the Disney Wish in July.
But for the 3 weeks prior to the cruise, we'll be at WDW, which will make it slightly more challenging to find a PCR testing site for our unvaccinated 4 year old granddaughter (the rest of our group of 9 are all fully vaccinated).

Does anyone know where there's a place near to WDW that does PCR testing?

Thanks in advance!!!

Buena Vista Urgent Care on World Center Drive, Urgent Care 24/7 in Celebration, Fast Test Now near Universal.

Think all do Rapid PCR which they charge for.

You can always order the inspire test through the safe passage site. Might be your best bet given it sounds like most places in central florida charge a hefty fee for testing.

i wonder if they ship to the hotel? we don't live in the USA, so it could only be shipped to the disney resort.
How do you do the test remotely? I go check their website to see. Thanks!
though since it's only one test, the price difference probably won't be that bad.

Keep in mind that DCL is switching to antigen testing, which is less sensitive that PCR testing.

We did an Inspire remote test for an NCL cruise as they require everyone to get tested before boarding. You order the kit and it is mailed to you. For the test itself you have to connect to their system and the proctor watches as you take the test. After 10 minutes, you show them the negative test result (hopefully) and they send you an email with the test results to use for the cruise. It was very easy. It might be possible to get the test kit mailed to your home before you travel, we had ours about 3 weeks before the cruise. If that is not possible, shipping to the resort should be an option.

That sounds like an antigen test, though. The under-5 pre-arrival testing is still PCR. You have to mail the sample back to Inspire for testing.

Inspire Diagnostics has a couple of options -- 1) order a test from them, the sample must be sent back UPS 3 days prior to embarkation (I might worry about finding the correct UPS drop location); or 2) at the airport or near PC.

At-Home Testing Kit
Guests residing in the United States can purchase an at-home PCR testing kit directly from the Safe Passage website by Inspire Diagnostics at a cost of US $98.33 per test (which includes a 3.5% processing fee). Test kits must be administered and mailed back to Inspire Diagnostics precisely 3 days before the sail date and mailed back using the prepaid UPS envelope included with the kit. Guests must drop the envelope at an official UPS drop box or a UPS store location. Do not use a UPS Access Point for shipment, which are drop boxes located at retail outlets such as a pharmacy, grocery store or gas station. Results will be available 24 to 48 hours from the time the sample is received by Inspire Diagnostics and will be sent to the email address provided during registration on the Safe Passage website. Guests with questions about the testing process should contact Inspire Diagnostics at (877) 250-5132, available 7 days a week, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, EST. You can also contact Inspire by email at DCLSupport@inspirediagnostics.com. In the subject line, please indicate that you are a Disney Cruise Line Guest. In the body of the email, please include your full name, reservation number and contact number, followed by your question.

that's fantastic!! thanks!!

We’ve been at WDW since June 30 and lucky me I caught covid
Of course I’ll be done long before the cruise.
I just hope the rest of the family doesn’t go down one by one like dominoes leading up to the cruise.
