Is there a "cheap" time to do Disney??

I apologise if this is a silly question but are there any times over summer that are cheaper than others?? (We would need 14nts and am loathed to take my son out of school again after doing so this year) Also, Complete Orlando or go directly with Disney?? Bearing in mind it's for 1 adult, 1 child (although am hoping to persuade mum to come too!) Thanks in advance!

Depending on when your school finishes you may be able to beat the real price hikes otherwise the end of August if you are willing to fly back close to the start of term can see some cheaper flight prices.

I work in a school, so even though we have no kids, we're stuck with school holidays.

When we priced up a week in August over our wedding anniversary (14th), it came out £1k more expensive than if we waited until the 18th to depart, as US schools go back that week. It really made the trip more affordable (and would have been even cheaper if we'd picked a value resort.

If you are going in school holidays, normally around mid August prices drop 17th onwards we normally find....

Great advice! Thanks! Will try pricing it up with latter half of Aug and see what the difference is. I don't mind it being close to the start of the school year, I just don't want to have to take my son out of school again
