IS there a bldg. to avoid in the Grandstand section??

We stayed for our first DVC stay in Aug. We were in Congress Park and enjoyed that section. I have requested Grandstand for our Nov. trip. Is there a bldg/area within Grandstand that is not ideal? We don't mind walking but is there a better view in certain bldgs?

I wouldn't say there was not an ideal building and I think they have similiar views, but I prefer the two buildings closest to the pool (Rooms 8101-8436 and 8501-8836). They are closest to the Carraige House, main pool and 8101-8436 is closest to the bus stop.

I'd also request a higher floor. We were in the two farthest buildings (9501-9836 & 9101-9436) 5 rooms all on the first floor. Every patio had frogs living there. They were funny to watch at night--sticking to the doors catching insects but made it hard to use the patios. One scared my mother to death on the arm of her chair and her husband stepped on one in the morning .
It wasn't too bad of a walk to the pools but I would have much rather been in the other 2 buildings.

OMG. I would flip out on those frogs. I don't like those tiny little tree frogs that stick to stuff. THANKS SO MUCH. I wonder if they are only in that area or if they are in other areas too???

We saw them in the halls every day when we were there in Sept. They aren't as small as tree frogs I have seen in SC, they were about 4 inches...and yes, they climb walls and doors and everything. We were in the grandstand section. Never saw them in other areas we stayed. Someone posted that they were showering at VWL and there was a frog in the shower.
