We'll be at MK on the 15th, too! We're there 4/6-4/16 and we always spend our last night at MK for Spectro & Wishes!

Thanks for the tip about April hours. I'll go take a look!

see you there Dreamsofdisney! I hope that I picked good days on where to be! We do not do hoppers. Saves $$$$ and with my family it just works better. We have 2 DS's one is 12 and the other is 10.

I'm toying with the idea of going in April for Easter week. I want to give a vacation to my parents so I'm thinking of surprising them for Christmas.

Me and DS15 are going in November, and sicko me is already thinking of the next Disney trip :rolleyes1

Anyone know when or if there is ever a discount or deal package for Easter week?

Just booked our flights this morning (at 6:45 a.m.( ) - already had our resort reservation so now it's really official :cool1:

Time to start checking out rental cars!

:cool1: We are booking for April!:goodvibes April 17th to April 23rd yahoo. Unsure about resort can't decide Pop, All-Star or POFQ(our favorite resort)

Rental car prices are crazy for April  I may need to find another option. We're staying on-site but arriving the night before check-in. I'm considering staying at a hotel near the airport that has a shuttle and a pool. We could take the shuttle to the hotel, swim etc, stay overnight, take the shuttle back to the airport and take ME to OKW.

Keeping my options open but looking for a cheaper car!

Very excited about our trip in April. We are staying at the CR at CL for 8 nights. It's going to be great. I am planning to go down 2 days early to do 2 nights at one of the Universal Hotels. We have been to WDW so many times, but we have never been to Uni.

I always love planning our next trip. With the holidays coming up, April will be here really fast. We have been planning it since this past April. The months just fly by!

We've also been to WDW a lot, but have never ventured to US/IoA. I've always been really set that we ONLY do Disney when in Orlando, but the lure of Harry Potter won me over.
:wizard:
I wish I'd thought to add a day or two at the beginning of the trip and do it that way. Instead, we're taking a day in the middle and trying to cram both parks into one day. Obviously, we won't be able to do everything but we'll at least hit the WWoHP stuff.

DH and DS17 are big thrill ride/coaster fans, so they should really enjoy it, but there won't be nearly as much for DD (2 at the time of the trip) to do. Honestly, I bought a 2011 guidebook for Universal/IoA and wasn't all that impressed. It should be interesting, but I'm sure I'll be glad to be back on Disney property at the end of the day!

:cloud9:

Hope you have a magical trip!

too funny about Universal! We are splitting up for the day. DS 10 and Me will stay at Disney and DH and DS 12 are taking a Mears shuttle to I.O.A for the day. Everybody will be happier that way:goodvibes We will meet back up for Dinner. Can't wait to make our ADR's this Sat:banana:

We are in for 04/18 - 4/23! We are staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort. It was the dd school vacation week but now scared because it is right before Easter which is probably super busy!

Anybody counting the days till ADR opens? Oh and we booked a rental car for the week, even though their is free transportation around, we like to be able to go when we want. Is it easier with a rental car? I hope so. We got a great rate I think, $200 for the whole week!

We just booked our Disney Vacation for April 1, 2011 to April 9, 2011. Our school use to have a Winter Break in February and I really wanted to go at that time, but they dropped it this year so our only other option was Spring Break. I've been in April once but it was a special trip so lines didn't matter.

Any tips about planning a trip in April would be greatly appreciated. It's going to be my mom, two nieces, DH, DS and me.

Can't wait to go. I'm already driving my family crazy with my planning. They aren't planners at all and its really getting on their nerves.

Has anyone seen a really cute disney planning book where you can right down all you "Meals, park hours, etc".

Thanks,
Allison

DS (15) and I are heading back to the Kingdom for the first time in 10yrs - I'm so EXCITED!!!! We will be there 4/23 - 28, then moving to POP 4/28-4/30 for Festival Days.

Last time we were there (Easter '01) it was 90 degrees and over so many people rumor had it they closed the entrance for a short period of time. The DS has a trip of a lifetime! He was picked as Ruler for the Day @ Sword & Stone, chosen by Chip or Dale (?)to be in the parade in MK, kissed by every princess at breakfast - was cute to see a 5yr old little boy with five sets of lips covering his face! We also witnessed a space shuttle launch and I MET POOH!!!!

Looking forward to many new memories in 2011.

Decided to take DS to WWoHP for his 10th birthday present...so, it's off to Universal/Disney we go...the first week of April, 2011.

It will probably be just the 2 of us, unless I convince one of my friends to travel with us. She's a big Disney fanatic, just like me. Would really love to take DS8, too, but with his sensory issues, it might be too much stimulation.

Staying off property at our home resort, just minutes away from the park. Thinking of telling DH to buy me an Annual Pass for Christmas...that way I can go back in October 2011, for F&W Festival, and MY birthday!!

Already planning daily activities and possible ADR's. Not as many as previous visits, since DS doesn't eat anything but chicken, fries, and pizza.
This is going to be sooooo much fun for him!!

We're booked! April 3-9 at POP. We (Future DH and I) will be celebrating our first visit and honeymoon! VERY EXCITED! :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

Look forward to seeing everyone and all the magic! :thumbsup2

We recently booked April 8-15 at BW. My son hasn't been there in 7 years and is really excited to be going back.

CyberFey you will be there the exact same time I will!

I was going to stay at Coronado Springs. However, I can't afford it so I'm going to cancel my room and book a condo off site. It's much cheaper.

Congrats on the wedding by the way. My DBF and I are going to do a Disneymoon some day too.

we're in, too! just booked our flight but no room yet - ha! it was just a great deal! anyway, 4/4 - 4/9! Yay!!!
