Is there a April 2008 code watch thread? **This seems to be it!!

Quick question. I want to buy my tickets to get the free Disney Visa upgrade, but we need 13 day Park Tickets. Can I buy these over the phone? I know you can buy them right at the gate on arrival, but I'm not sure about over the phone. Also if I buy them over the gate, will they apply the free upgrade still?

its a package deal, you need to book a room on Disney for a minimum of 3 nights to get the deal.

I have room only right now, a family suite at All Star Music.

I want to get my tickets too, we just didn't know how many days we wanted yet. But if I can get hopper upgrade, I'll do it Thursday!

Does a family suite count toward this deal? Should I order tickets before Thursday and then call for the upgrade?

Hi everyone.

I've been code watching for a couple of months now, just like some of you I'm sure, and suddenly found myself wondering something.

I know they say you have to be flexible with your dates to get an AP or general public code but, could you still apply the code if your days go over or start before the time frame?

Example: If someone stays 4/1 - 4/14 and the code is for dates 4/7 - 5/7 could they still apply the code for one of the weeks of their 2 week stay? Or do the codes apply only to those staying any days between 4/7 - 5/7?

I was just curious if anyone knew this. I've already booked and even though I doubt the April codes will apply for my entire stay, I was hoping I could still apply the code to some of my dates.

Any savings help right? :thumbsup2

If any of you Disney Experts out there know the answer to this, please post. Thank you kindly. :flower3:

DH just got off the phone with them. In order for us to use the discount, we would have had to re-book everything. The offer is also only good for Standard View rooms at the Animal Kingdom & I wan't going to give up my Savannah View for the $90.00 it would have saved me.

are you in a package deal or just a room?
If it is just a room, I don't see a problem applying the code for the nights you have booked.I've done that before just for a few nights with a code. I've never done a package so I couldn't answer you on that one.

I wouldn't have given up Savannah view for $90 either.

Can anyone with experience please answer this for me?

When Disney releases the Hopper upgrade to the public on Thursday, will they actually change the letters on the code or will it be the same code? :confused3

Thanks! :)

Thanks for the post.

I've only reserved a room so I'm hoping I could apply a code.

Can't wait for the code to get here so we can all find out those dates. :scared:

I applied the new code yesterday for our April trip...saved over $400
Thought it was a Canadian only code.

Interesting thing the CM told me was she had a new code list..."As long as my arm" and she had to find the right one.
She said she has a list of codes just released, about to be released, some for ticket upgrades, some for discounts, some for Canadians only, some for Visa cards, some for AP holders...
It sounded like it must get confusing for them.

She applied code ALH for me. MYW w/DDP
Which I have not seen posted anywhere else yet. She said it was a "general code" whatever that means...I'm very new to all this.

According to the DIS home page ALM is supposed to be the Canadian only code with the DDP.

It even says ALH on my confirmation e-mail. I'm guessing ALH some new general public code.

Ok, I have to be missing something...i can't be reading this right...the only April code right now is for free park hopping and water parks? seriously...where is the 40% off? what am i missing....tell me i am missing something bigger here....

To get the codes applied I had to switch my room only reservations to a room/ticket package. If room discounts come out in the future, how would that affect my existing reservations?

Anyone know??

I didn't get my ticket in a package I go them from AAA directly, can I still get the park hopper upgrade if I already have my tickets? TIA!

if you have already paid off your package }{ dsil paid it off yesterday!} and we have the myw package+ddp+water parks already paid for if they give a code for hoppers can we still use it>? if it is released to public where would it be?? so confused:confused3 since we have already paid for the package i am not worried about the hoppers to much { i seem to be the ont one in the group who thinks it would of been a great idea to do hoppers:) } but if we could get & use a code for ANYTHING i would be tickled to show dsil/dd that all my manic reading& planning really paid off..they thik i am nuts with all i have learend,i see it as extra info which will add extra magic and saffe many headaches...like when dsil came by to say he'd paid it off with the ta { not sure he even let her know we knew about codes} but he was all proud with his infor that "we have to check in to get our tickets/ddp sicne thye are all on a key thing and we have to get them 1st,even if we can't go to the room' i was like yeah i read that somewhere i think,it's called the key to the world......hehe let him think he is the man...l have told htem all this infor and now that it is closer they are like oh really...you'd thnk they were just going to the beach with the lack of planning they are doing.i told them to all read read read and pick their fav 5 so everyone gets their fun and no one thinks nanna is a beast...hehe...thank you all for the help...:flower3:

Well it's the 20th, the passholder site was down for most of the morning and when I finally got in, nothing new. :sad1:

AP code out today and dining plan available. Anyone have any luck with monorail resorts for 4/16-4/19?
Good Luck to everyone.

My TA is the best!!!! She spent over an hour rebooking our ressies to not only get the AP discount but add the DDP with the discounts we only have to pay $100 for our 9 day stay to eat!!!
I am way to excited to sleep! We leave in 49 days
