Note, the MK guide was updated for 2018, but the Epcot, HS, and AK guides are still the 2017 version. The only thing that's changed (that I noticed anyway) is that in these parks, anywhere that was a 2017 specific design is now a 2018 design in the same location.

So glad I ran across this thread! My daughter loves pressed penny machines; they make a great souvenir. Do any of the gift shops sell the souvenir booklets?

I am researching this as well for both myself and my son. I want to make a bracelet for myself out of the pennies and I think my son will really enjoy them as souvenirs. I know the machines are cash only...do they take dollars, quarters or what? How much does it cost to press the coin?

There are some machines that take credit cards, but most take coin only. The cost of a pressed penny is $.51 (2 quarters and the penny to press). If you want a pressed quarter it costs $1.25 (4 quarters and the extra quarter to press).

I'd recommend you use pennies that are clean and a higher percentage of copper for your bracelet. (They started using more zinc in pennies sometime during 1982, so use older pennies. Newer pennies will often have grey streaks where you see the zinc once you press them.)
